This clearly assessed also the status of the developmental delays or advancement of Kindergarten pupils as to gross motor, fine motor, self-help, receptive language, expressive language, cognitive, and socio-emotional aspects of learning. This study seeked in identifying possible intervention strategies that help Kindergarten pupils in their early childhood learning days. The study used descriptive type of research method and used the standard ECCD checklist as instrument-questionnaire of the study. The respondents of the study were delimited only to the Kindergarten teachers of schools in the District of Baler. The results of the study revealed that the most of the Kindergarten pupils in Baler District were at average and advanced level based on the ECCD checklist assessed and conducted by the Kindergarten teachers. Activities and behaviors on ECCD checklist from the different domains such as gross motor, fine motor, self-help, receptive language, expressive language, cognitive and socio-emotional were performed by the Kindergarten pupils regularly and correctly. Also, the study revealed that in terms of the current overview and implementation of Kindergarten Education in the country, the ECCD checklist was still necessary and relevant to assess the learning development of Kindergarten pupils and therefore, it is important to employ and promulgate in the country’s educational system. However, since the Philippine Educational System promotes quality education, the study suggested that intervention strategies in terms of delivery and instruction in using ECCD checklist must be conducted. This will help the teacher in assessing the pupils correctly to avoid irregularities and misinterpretation in suing the ECCD checklist. All of these intervention strategies and intervention materials will help the Kindergarten pupils to perform more and to be advanced from the different domains stated in the ECCD checklist. Furthermore, the researcher recommended that Kindergarten teachers should think more intervention materials and intervention strategies in order to develop more pupils to become advance in gross motor, fine motor, self-help, receptive language, expressive language, cognitive, and socio-emotional domains.
