The data needed were acquired from the respondents who were registered voters of Sitio Kalapnit, Brgy. Dibalo, San Luis, Aurora. Data were obtained through questionnaire, supplemented with personal interview. The statistical tools used in the analysis of data were simple frequency count and percentage. Based on the result, the impacts of road development to the social status of the community observed by residents of Sitio Kalapnit include: 1.) road development provides better income with a weighted mean of 4.07 - severe impact; and road development provides more jobs with a weighted mean of 3.39 - moderate. In terms of health status 2). it helps improve health care access with a weighted mean of 4.61 - most severe impact; and medical supplies are maintained by the health care center with a weighted mean of 4.64 - most severe. In terms of education for the respondent's child/children 3.) easy access to school with a weighted mean of 4.61 - most severe impact; and easy access to educational assistance and scholarship programs with a weighted mean of 3.71 - moderate impact. This means that the road development has severe impact to the social status of the residents. The impacts of road development to the environment of the community observed by residents of Sitio Kalapnit include: there is plant mortality along the road edge, local fauna was affected during/after the road development with a weighted mean of 3.55 - severe impact; and local fauna were affected during/after the road development with a weighted mean of 3.1 - moderate impact. This means that there is less impact on the environment. The satisfaction observed by residents of Sitio Kalapnit include: comfort with a weighted mean of 3.84 - highly satisfied. This means that the residents are highly satisfied with the road development.
