Summary, etc | This study was entitled “Level of Implementation of the Magna Carta for Disabled Person of Special Education Schools in Central Aurora” aimed to identify the level of implementation on the Provision of Accessibility and Privileges for children with special needs in accordance to the Republic Act 7277 also known as the Magna Carta for Persons with Disability.<br/>The study employed descriptive research using survey method. A constructed questionnaire was utilized in data gathering from a total of 118 respondents. One hundred ten 110 regular teachers and eight 8 special education teachers of schools offering Special Education Program in Central Aurora were respondents.<br/>With regard to the Accessibility for children with special needs, School Building is interpreted as least implemented, services and facilities for the Care and Protection of Children with Special Needs is interpreted as adequately implemented. Educational and Vocational Services is interpreted as adequately implemented. And Social Services is interpreted as adequately implemented. The grand interpretation for Accessibility for Children with Special Needs is adequately implemented.<br/>In regard to the Privileges of Children with Special Needs, Educational Assistance is interpreted as moderately implemented, Health Assistance is interpreted as adequately implemented, and the Equal rights and Opportunities is interpreted as fully implemented. The grand interpretation for Privileges of Children with Special Needs is adequately implemented.<br/>The study proven that the Implementation of the Magna Carta for Disabled Person in special Education Schools in Central Aurora needs more compliance to the Implementation of the Provisions as mandated by the law to benefit learners with Special Needs. |
