Summary, etc This study is concerned with the use of interactive game strategies in enhancing pupils’ competencies in English lessons. The objective of this research was to describe the performance of the pupils’ scores in pretest and posttest, and to identify the significant difference between the pretest scores and posttest scores after using the interactive game strategies. This study used descriptive method. Two sets of test were used in this study. In each set there were pretest, utilization of interactive game strategies, and post-test to determine the significant differences on the performance of respondents using interactive game strategies in teaching synonym and antonym, English contraction of words, compound word and context clues.<br/>There were 62 respondents who were Grade Vi pupils of reserve Elementary School who participated in this study. The study showed that the interactive game strategies provided a great help to the pupils in enhancing their competencies in English lessons. By comparing the mean score of pre-test and port-test, a significant improvement was determined and recorded. The pupils’ mean score of the post-test (37.5323) was higher than that of the pre-test (19.48839). this improvement was also supported by the results of test. Based on the test, the pupils’ achievement improved.<br/>Moreover, the result of the study showed that the pupils’ competencies in English using bingo game, domino game and spin the elesi game increased the academic performance of the pupils. By referring to the results, it can be concluded that the use of interactive games led to the improvement of the pupils’ competencies English lessons. Therefore, the use of interactive game strategies in teaching English lessons is highly recommended. Through this technique, teaches are expected to be able to increase pupils’ interest and motivation in learning English as a second language.
