Summary, etc This study on application of fermented fruit juice (FFJ) and fish amino acid (FAA) on the growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus) was conducted at Brgy. Pingit, Baler Aurora. The study started January 2023 and ended on March 2023. This study aimed to determine the application of FAA and FFJ on the growth and yield of cucumber in terms of on the vine height, length of fruits per plant, number of fruits per plant, weight of fruits per plant, total weight of marketable yield and total weight of non marketable yield.
There were four treatments replicated three times in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The treatments were as follows : Treatment 1 - T1 (control, no fermented fruit juice and fish amino acid applied), Treatment 2 - T2 (fish amino acid), Treatment 3 - T3 (fermented fruit juice), and Treatment 4 - T4 (50% fish amino acid + 50% fermented fruit juice).
The result implied that among the four treatments, T4 (50% fish amino acid + 50% fermented fruit juice) showed the best result in terms of number of fruits per plant and total weight of marketable yield. Meanwhile, T4 and T3 (fermented fruit juice) both had the best results when it comes to the length of fruits per plant and weight of fruits. However T1 (control) had the lowest performance among the treatments, followed by T2 (fish amino acid). DMRT showed that T4 is the best option since it gives better growth and yield cucumber.
