"Plant physiology is a complex combination of biology, chemistry, and physics which describes why plants grow the way they do. Biological aspects include basic cellular functions and process of life. Chemical aspects include the behavior of substances based on their chemical properties and their importance in plant growth and development . Physics plays a key role in helping to explain the behavior of light and water with respect to plants. Understanding what happens in a plant response to horticultural practices helps us to understand why we do what we do.
