"The Data Series on Sugarcane Statistics in the Philippines provides in- formation on the number of farms, area, production and yield per hectare of sugarcane. It also includes data on export and import volume and value, farm prices, wholesale and retail prices and other pertinent statistics.
This publication is not the first of its kind. Two series have already been published, the Data Series on Rice Statistics and the Data Series on Coconut Statistics in the Philippines.
Publication of this Data Series was made possible through the initiative of the Socioeconomic Research Division of PCARR which undertook the consolidation, computation and over-all preparation of the report."
