TI - Utilization of Fishpond Sediments as Organic Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Eggplant (Solanum melongena) PY - 2023/// CY - Aurora PB - ASCOT KW - fishpond sendiment KW - growth and yield N1 - Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Major in Crop Science) N2 - This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of fishpond sediment using different rates of application and its response to the plant height, number of branches, fruit length, fruit number, non marketable, marketable and total yield per treatment of eggplant. The treatment consists of T1 (no application) T2 (115kg of fishpond sediment) T3 (130kg of fishpond sediment) T4 (150kg of fishpond sediment) respectively. A total area of 86.25 m2 was used following the Randomized Complete Block Design. Application of treatment was applied 2 weeks after the seedlings were transplanted to the field until harvesting period. The result of the study indicated that different rates of fishpond sediment application as organic fertilizer had similar effects on the growth and yield of eggplant. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that further studies on the use of fishpond sediment as organic fertilized must be continually done to assess its effect in crops ER -
