All the needed data were gathered through survey questionnaires and used descriptive analysis in interpreting the data and information gathered.
This study revealed that among the variety of pigmented rice grown, black rice is very popular among health-conscious household due to its high anthocyanin content. Pigmented rice varieties can be grown for both wet and dry season because the cropping season in Aurora is continuous due to water availability of year round. Pigmented rice were most grown in highland areas of Maria Aurora. This is because mostly of pigmented rice farmers in Maria Aurora were from highland areas. Among the land area planted with pigmented rice, the one planted with red pigmented rice had the largest area while the areas planted with black and brown pigmented rice had almost the same land area. The rice form was more in demand than the palay product of pigmented rice.
