Abstract:
This study aims to determine the strategies and actions in managing the challenges in multicultural diversity in Baler, Aurora. It seeks to know the challenges affecting the workplace and the solution to lessen the dilemma caused bu multicultural diversity through the hotel strategies and implementation of actions. The respondents of the study are the 90 employees of 6 chosen accredited hotel of Baler using a survey questionnaire. A quantitative research design employing descriptive research method was used in the study. The data gathered were analyzed and interpreted using the 5-point Likert scale.The study showed that challenges in multicultural diversity does not become a barrier to the hotel's everyday operations. Moreover, the study determined that hotels provide opportunities for employees to learn about cultural norms and practices of different backgrounds of the guests. The results of the study further revealed that hotels encourage their employees to respect and value the cultural differences.
