This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of Golden Apple Snail (GAS) extract and its response to the plant height, number of branches, fruit length, marketable, non marketable and total yield of hot pepper. The treatments consist of 4 treatments: Control (no application), 15 ml GAS extract/1.5 L of water, 30 ml GAS extract/1.5 L of water and 45 ml GAS extract/1.5 L of water. Varying levels of golden apple snail extract was applied 7 days after transplanting.
Not significant variations were noted in all the growth and yield parameters of hot chili applied with varying levels of golden apple snail extract. This implies that the varying levels of golden apple snail extract has the same effect in the growth and yield performance of hot chili.
